Marion Cassie Memorial Scholarship

Marion Cassie was a dedicated friend and volunteer to the skating community.  She was an inspiration to all who worked with her. Through 2 decades, her significant contribution of time, energy,and encouragement on behalf of local skaters was legendary.  In October 1998, the skating community sadly lost her.  Before Marion passed, she expressed a desire to set up a scholarship fund to help local skaters as they entered post secondary education.  The Uxbridge Skating Alumni (which consists of all former board members of the Uxbridge Skating Club) took up the task to make Marion's wish come true.
