Marion Cassie Memorial Scholarship

Marion Cassie was a dedicated friend and volunteer to the skating community.  She was an inspiration to all who worked with her. Through 2 decades, her significant contribution of time, energy, and encouragement on behalf of local skaters was legendary.  In October 1998, the skating community sadly lost her.  Before Marion passed, she expressed a desire to set up a scholarship fund to help local skaters as they entered post-secondary education.  The Uxbridge Skating Alumni (consisting of all former board members of the Uxbridge Skating Club) took up the task of making Marion's wish come true.
